The embroidery design measures 18cm x 20cm wide (7" x 8").

Sweet Repose is an ideal project if you are familiar with the basics of crewel embroidery and are looking to further develop your skills.

Sweet Repose was inspired by the fabulous flowers and foliage often seen in historical embroideries. To achieve a fresh, modern look, I stitched the design using a colour palette of cheerful pinks and crisp greens, adding splashes of sunshine yellow.

The design is printed onto Italian linen,ready for you to stitch. Sweet Repose is stitched using 20 different embroidery stitches and stitch combinations to create textures and patterns within the design. The detailed instructions and diagrams will help guide you step by step through the project.

The size of the design makes it ideal for a pillow or bag, but it looks equally pretty framed.
