With so many public holidays coming up, here are our opening days for the remainder of April 2025 and also into May where there will be changes to the days we are open for browsing. Browsing hours will not change. Our normal trading days will resume in June 2025. Our online shop will remain open 24/7 with internet orders processed and posted as usual.

Week beginning 14th April- Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday (closed Fri).

Week beginning 21st April - Open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (closed Fri, Sat).

Week beginning 28th April - Open Tuesday - Saturday.

Week beginning 5th May - Open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (Closed Mon, Wed, Thurs).

Week beginning 12th May - Open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (Closed Mon, Wed, Thur).

Week beginning 19th May - Open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (Closed Mon, Wed, Thur)

Week beginning 26th May - Open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (Closed Mon, Wed, Thur).

Normal browsing days return in June.

Instore Browsing (unless otherwise specified) is available Tues to Fri 10.00 to 2.00 and Saturday 9.30 to 12.00. Allthreads is always closed Sunday, Monday and Public Holidays.

If you are unwell or have been required to isolate or quarantine, please shop online or call to place an order!

As we have reduced staff numbers at present, although our shop hours remain the same, our browsing hours have been reduced.

Click and Collect is available for customers in Brisbane. Orders can be collected from the shop during opening hours. If you are unable to make it within these hours, please call the shop to make an alternate arrangement.

We are a one stop shop for hand embroidery supplies and have a huge range of threads, ribbons, books, kits, charts and other embroidery essentials. Internet sales and mail orders are a specialty. Our staff are experienced embroiderers and able to help with your enquiries.

Our website now displays most of the stock that we have in store and all threads are listed individually with links where possible to colour charts. With over 30 000 products in our online shop, there may be a slight delay in the pages loading, particularly when looking for large product ranges which comprise many hundreds of colours. Please be patient – the page will load and ordering from the page is simple. Add the items to your cart and follow the prompts on each page. Click on the Checkout Link when you have completed your purchases. Our site is fully secured with industry-standard SSL encryption and credit card details are not stored by us.

Orders are posted daily during the week so unless the item is out of stock it will usually be sent out within 48 hours of the order. We try to keep delays to a minimum! Parcels of average size are sent with Australia Post; larger items are sent by Courier.

Sometimes an item will be out of stock and needs to be ordered in. You will see sold out products on our website. If you are after a specific item that is not in stock, please feel free to phone or email to place an order, and where possible it will be placed on backorder for you.

We keep a large number of kits in stock but others are ordered as they are requested. Orders are placed with suppliers every week and we do our best to order items as soon as they are requested. There are times when our Australian suppliers do not have the products in stock or alternatively there are times when the product is imported from overseas, and these items can take a little while longer to come in. Your patience is appreciated during this time.
