Brenda tells us: "Did you know that birdwatching has become one of the fastest-growing hobbies in North America? According to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, about 45 million Americans watch and care for birds. I, myself, am an avid birder and find great enjoyment in this hobby. To honor some of my favorite birds that visit our feeder and backwoods, I'm excited to present Peppermint & Pine. The pattern consists of three small, wintery-themed pincushions featuring the Tufted Titmouse, the Barred Owl, and the Northern Cardinal. "

Stitch count for each of the three designs is 93 W x 96 H.

Models were stitched on 40 count Vintage Country Mocha linen from Zweigart and stitched with a combination of DMC floss and hand dyed cotton floss.

Weeks Dye Works - 1092 Grits, 1201 Putty, 1265 Garrison, 2211 Olive, 1232 Palomino, 1259 Pamlico.
