The original sampler was stitched on approximately 46ct linen that had probably been woven on a hand loom to a width of 12″. The model was stitched on a Zweigart linen overdyed to the shade of Woodsmoke by Tabby Cat Linens. The design area is 276 stitches (w) x 228 stitches (h). Our calculations have included a 3″ margin for finishing and framing.

28ct: Design: 19.71″ x 16.29″ Fabric: 25.71″ x 22.29″

32ct: Design: 17.25″ x 14.25″ Fabric: 23.25″ x 20.25″

36ct: Design: 15.33″ x 12.67″ Fabric: 21.33″ x 18.67″

40ct: Design: 13.80″ x 11.40″ Fabric: 19.80″ x 17.40″

46ct: Design: 12″ x 9.91″ Fabric: 18″ x 15.91″

56ct: Design: 9.86″ x 8.14″ Fabric: 15.86″ x 14.14″

Can be stitched with Au ver a soie threads or DMC threads. The DMC threads are:
