This little box which measures nearly four inches is the perfect size for holding your needlework tools. Place it on a table next to you when stitching or pack it up to take to your favorite stitching event. The verse on the box top, My needle does my heart engage, was taken from an old sampler verse.

Inside the box are a pincushion (on the lid) and four pockets which hold an embroidered needlebook and two embroidered threadwinders.  Included in the package on directions for making a scissors weight.  
The model was stitched on 32-count Antique Ivory linen using silk threads from Crescent Colours (Belle Soie),Gloriana Threads,  Needlepoint, Inc., and DMC Ecru tatting thread.  DMC color substitutions are provided.

Stitches used:  backstitch, closed herringbone, cross, cross stitch over one linen thread, four-sided, nun’s stitch, satin, smyrna cross, tent, and vertical elongated cross stitch
