The third in a series (after "Mary Barton's Work" & "Among the Roses"), this addition to the flock represents a visitor local to my area, with some unusual coloring from the original Victorian stitcher. Adapted from an antique original in my collection.

Stitch count 144w x 140h and uses only full crosses over 2. Model stitched on 32-count 'Flax' by Zweigart using 2 strands of Weeks, Gentle Arts & Classic Colorworks.

Threads used - Gentle Arts - Carriage black, Blue Jay, Chamomile, AND

Weeks Dye Works - Tin roof, Seagull, Navy, Light Khaki, Caper, Pecan, AND 

Classic Colorworks - Garden trellis, Jakey brown, Sweetest Heart, Peanut Brittle,
